This is an excellent example of a mix and match project that combined that required a lot of reworking and adapting of existing equipment to work. This machine has a very interesting grapple mounted to it.  A large wheeled forklift type machine are very handy on farms and in rough and muddy ground.

Bale/Utility Truck

This utility/bale truck.is mounted on a 1974 Chevy 4x4 frame with a 1972 Chevy Cab.  The unit features Bucyrus Erie arms and hydraulics from an 1950 TD9.  The forks are formed from the backs of IH 3 bottom plows.  A transmission  mounted  pto drives the hydraulic pump and all controls are fully mounted within the cab. The unit includes a number of attachment accessories for sprayer rig, generator, tool boxes, ball and pin towing mounts, fence post pullers and boom arm.  This truck has lifted tractors and can easily move around the the full weight of a TD9 rear end.

Combine Forklift

This forklift was constructed from a IH 303 combine and the mast from a salvaged electric forklift.  The total cost of the project not counting welding and  bolts and odd ball parts  was around  $150. This unit can easily lift tracks weighing 2500lbs and has easily moved the swing frame from an Allis Chalmers HD9, offers step on/off control with no climbing and the mast controls are mounted to permit single person use.
