This is an excellent example of a mix and match project that
combined that required a lot of reworking and adapting of existing equipment to

This forklift was constructed from a IH 303 combine and the mast from a salvaged electric forklift. The total cost of the project not counting welding and bolts and odd ball parts was around $150. This unit can easily lift tracks weighing 2500lbs and has easily moved the swing frame from an Allis Chalmers HD9, offers step on/off control with no climbing and the mast controls are mounted to permit single person use.
