Previous owner was dragging it  around log knocking over anthills. It decided it wanted to spin around in circles so he shut it off and left it there (circa 1950,s). My brother in law purchased the farm a few years ago and took me to see it telling me about this boat anchor he had found. Subsequently, I finished up with it.  Hhe bet me it would never run again. At some time when it was laying derelict somebody must have decided to get it going and removed the final drive but left it  open to the weather and  rusting up one bearing and losing all the bolts.  Also all of the spark plugs were all taken out.

Work Done so far:
Removed steering clutch to see why it was stuck open
Head removed, unstuck rusted pistons
Freed up stuck rings. Broke one ring  a Chevy 6.2l diesel is same bore size 2x 2nd compression rings and a spacer ring from IH v345 should do the trick
Replace one bearing in final drive and source replacement bolts and gaskets
Cleaned out  accumulated gunk
Wire brush & paint
Try to repair radiator mainly old age (cost of recoring puts replacement out of question)
Build up thread and cut new thread for drive sprocket shaft( left lying in dirt and rusted away)
Try and free up tracks where sitting in dirt
Remagnetise magneto and remount
Cast new oil filler cap
